Each 10 ml dose contains 1000 mg of Sodium Alginate and 200 mg of Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate, forming a strong and resilient raft that acts as a protective barrier over stomach contents. This helps to neutralise excess stomach acid and soothe the burning sensation in the chest. Suitable for adults, including the elderly and children over 12 years, Gaviscon Advance is also safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Directions for Use

For oral use. Adults, including the elderly and children aged 12 years and over, should take 5-10 ml (one to two 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime. Children under 12 years should only use this product on medical advice. If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.
