Detailed Product Description
The One Step Test for SARS-CoV-2 Antigen (Colloidal Gold) is designed for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in human nasal swab samples. This test is intended for patients suspected of having a COVID-19 infection as determined by a healthcare provider. The novel coronaviruses belong to the β genus, and SARS-CoV-2 causes an acute respiratory infectious disease.
Each kit contains:
Getein SARS-CoV-2 antigen test card (25 tests/box) in a sealed pouch with desiccant.
Sample extraction solution: 25 tubes per box.
Sampling swab: 25 pieces per box.
Disposable pipette: 25 pieces per box.
User manual: 1 piece per box.
Directions for Use
Collect the sample: Use the provided sampling swab to collect a nasal swab sample.
Prepare the sample: Place the swab into the sample extraction solution tube and mix thoroughly.
Perform the test: Use the disposable pipette to transfer the prepared sample onto the Getein SARS-CoV-2 antigen test card.
Read the results: Wait for the specified time and observe the test lines:
Positive (+): Two bands appear (one at the control area C and one at the test line T).
Negative (-): A single band appears at the control area C with no band at the test line.
Invalid: No band appears at the control area C. Repeat the test with a new test card if this occurs.
Test card: Contains colloidal gold-labeled anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.
Sample extraction solution: Buffered solution for sample preparation.
Sampling swab: Sterile swab for collecting nasal samples.
Disposable pipette: For transferring sample solution.
