Detailed Product Description

The Coco Boost compost is a high-performing, peat-free, all-purpose compost that is perfect for promoting healthy plant growth. Independently tested to outperform leading brands, this compost is enriched with NPK fertiliser that feeds plants for up to 6 months. The compost is lightweight and compact, making it easy to store and transport, especially in an urban setup. One 5kg coir block can make an impressive 75L of compost, and the added dry fertiliser doesn't start to degrade until water is added, unlike ready-to-use compost. This compost helps to develop healthy foliage, strong root development, and fantastic flower and fruit performance. It is also the environmentally friendly choice, being peat-free and made from sustainable and organic coir fibre. The compost encourages beneficial plant microbes, has excellent aeration, drainage, and moisture retention, and is pH and nutrient balanced. It is packed with essential trace elements and is perfect for potting up young plants and growing them on. Suitable for all outdoor and indoor plants, except for ericaceous or lime-hating plants.

Directions for Use

To use the Coco Boost compost, simply place the compressed coir block in a container and add 18-20L of warm water. Let it sit until the water is absorbed, which takes approximately 20 minutes. Fluff up the compost until there is plenty of air in the mix and any clumps have been fully broken up. You're ready to get planting! To speed up expansion, slowly pour the water directly onto the centre of the block so water is absorbed from the centre outwards. Ensure the block is fully submerged in the water, rather than sat on top.
