The Coco & Coir Specialist Houseplant Compost is a high-quality, 100% natural and peat-free compost that is perfect for supporting the development of all types of houseplants except ericaceous. This compost retains nutrients while ensuring a full 6-month feed, released only after the compost has been expanded and wet. The coir compost is enhanced with aeration and drainage, resulting in healthier, stronger plants and roots. The natural pest control properties of this compost ensure a pest-free growing environment, making it ideal for houseplants and herbs. This compost is suitable for both indoor and outdoor plants, and can be used for pots, containers, and hanging baskets. It is also perfect for growing young plants and repotting.

Directions for Use

To use the Coco & Coir Specialist Houseplant Compost, simply submerge the coir brick in water for 5 minutes until the water has been absorbed. Break up the compost and add a little more water if needed, then mix well. The final volume is dependent on how fluffy you require your potting mix to be. Note that 1kg of coir brick makes 9L of compost, using 3L of warm water. Always allow the compost to dry completely before storing.
