In the early hours of the morning, on November 20th, 2018 a raging fire erupted in our winery placing the winemaking team on high alert to safeguard our precious wines in barrel. Instead of devastation they saw a chance to bring a new wine to life.

Emboldened by its fiery origins, Roodeberg Black is dark and smooth with an intriguing touch of smoke and charred oak. Fresh yet full-bodied in character, this rich red blend remains true to the Roodeberg blending legacy, showcasing top quality fruit and powerful structure.
