Otrivine Adult Measured Dose Sinusitis Spray offers targeted relief from nasal congestion caused by colds, perennial and allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. The active ingredient, xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.1%), works quickly to reduce swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages and decrease excessive nasal secretions. This results in unblocking the nose within 2 minutes and providing relief that lasts up to 10 hours. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years old, it should be used up to three times daily. Priming the Spray: Before first use, prime the pump by actuating it 4 times. If unused for more than 7 days, re-prime with 4 actuations.
Application: Clear your nose and remove the protective cap. Hold the bottle upright with your thumb under the base and nozzle between two fingers. Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into one nostril. Depress the pump while sniffing simultaneously. Repeat for the other nostril.
Usage Frequency: Use up to 3 times daily, with 1 spray per nostril each time.
Post-Use Care: Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the cap. Avoid blowing your nose for a few minutes after application to allow the medicine to work effectively.
